21 Races haven taken place in the MRL 2nd season. After 21 races, we start the Chase for the MRL Cup, which resets the points for the top 14. After a dominating performance leading 130 of 150 laps at Auto Club, Rick picked up his 2nd win and snuck into the chase. From barely making it to 2nd with the reset, but your leader will be RangersNY68. The chase is run a little different in the MRL than the regualar season. There will be no more qualifying to get into room A, as once your in the chase your locked into A. So the next 10 races should be rather exiciting to see if anyone can catch the regular season and post-season points leader in RangersNY68.

The Midnight Racing League would like to welcome Sony to the league. MRL will now have a PS3 Series in the NFS Shift game. Details are still to be worked out, and sign-ups will start up within the week. The details behind the series are still being worked out by the admins. In the mention of admins, MRL would like to welcome another admin to the list in Joe302007. After talking with Joe for sometime now, he is more than qualified to help run the first series on the Sony console. If interested in running on PS3 with NFS Shift simply just let us know you want to run in the sign-up thread along with the best night for you to participate.

With the announcement of Forza Motorsport 3 having Stock Cars, Rick has decided to add another series onto the MRL resume in the form of Forza Stock Cars. Due to lack of information on the cars within the game information behind the series is still TBA. All I know is the series should be a blast, and that tenative sign-ups will be up within the week. Below is a link to the article for the stock cars, showing a Ford, Chevy and Dodge. When the sign-up thread is opened please post your preferred number and make. One thing similiar between Forza and NASCAR09 is the ability to paint the cars. The ability to paint these stock-cars should bring yet another amazing feature to this highly anticipated release. Forza 3 is released on October 27th.
